Sushi Anyone?

We also made these really cute sushi cupcakes... They turned out so cute! and they were super yummy!

What you need:
Cupcakes
White Frosting
White sprinkles
Apple fruit roll-up
Dots (cut into halves and quarters)
Swedish Fish
(Toothpicks, maybe)
Chocolate syrup
green tootsie roll
pink tootise roll

How to do it:
Unwrap your cupcake
Frost it
Dip it in the sprinkles
Wrap with 'Nori' (fruit roll-up) (you may need to use a toothpick to make it stick)
Decorate with fish or dots
**I tried to make a spam musubi, and all I did was cute the top of a cupcake off and cut it into the square, frosted it the spam color, frosted and sprinkled the whole cupcake, and then wrapped it like you do musubi. I did that one for Kev! :)

The chocolate syrup is the 'soy sauce', roll up and shape green tootise roll for wasabi, and then tear up the pink one for ginger!

If you didn't see the owl cupcakes below, make sure you check those out!

the owl family

Here's the first of the pictures from the week at the Rich's. We had so much fun making lots and lots of cupcakes. We wanted to make these owl cupcakes because my mom loves owls. We made one for each person in the family. Can you tell which one is my Mom and which one is my Dad? They turned out sooo cute and we were very proud of them!
P.S. if you are counting, the grandkids that were there ate theirs before the pic... :o)

There are more to come, also stay tuned for the CUTEST TURTLE EVER!! Coming up this weekend!

J E DOUBLE S I C A!!!

Jessica, Jessica, GOOOOO JESSICA!!
This week Kaniela and I got to go to California to visit my sister and her family. We came down to watch Kaniela's cousin, Jessica, cheer in her homecoming game. It was SOOO soo FUN!! We made shirts and painted the kids faces (I'll post more of those later) and took LOTS and LOTS of pictures. Jessica is such a cute cheerleader, and as you can tell, she has such a cute smile and cute personality out there! It's really weird to think about her being 16 and a cheerleader. Jess is the first grandkid on our side and I was only 10 when she was born. I grew up with her around, and completely remember her being Kaniela's age. I have been able to watch all the stages, and she has grown into a BEAUTIFUL young
women! I'm so proud of her and the choices she is making. She is a GREAT girl, and I know she will continue to make good choices! We LOVE YOU JESS!

G DOUBLE O D JOB, GOOOD JOB, GOOOD JOB!! WOOOOT WOOOOOT!!

Coco, Rock Climbing, and Temple Pictures

We have had a very VERY busy week! It's been really fun though. It started out with Coco (Kevin's mom) coming to visit! We had a lot of fun with Coco. We went rock climbing, shopping, and ate LOTS of food!!
Rock climbing was VERY fun! Aunty Becky and Uncle Tim had the equipment. We went up behind the temple, hiked up to the rock, then climbed.. The leaves are all turning colors right now, it is very beautiful! I had fun rock climbing, Kevin had a good time taking pictures and Kaniela had a good time being held, all bundled up!
We also went to SL one day and took some cute pictures of Kaniela at the Temple.

Instead of taking the time to post all of the fun pictures we took, Kevin already posted on our photoblog! If you want to see some cute pics, go to:
