A Growing Boy. A Ball of Joy.

We had to get a picture of Kaniela in these thermal pajamas in honor of his Uncle Russ. Kaniela's not just spreading Christmas cheer, but instead joy throughout the entire year!

People are starting to say that Kaniela is looking more and more like his dad...what do you think?


This cute little outfit was given to Kaniela by his Aunty Luana Turetzky (I hope that spelling is right)... Funny story. So Aunty Luana and her family moved into our ward a couple of weeks ago and it has been a pleasure getting to know them. Being that she is from Hawaii, we decided that we wanted to get together for dinner. We had dinner set for last Sunday, but Cea wasn't feeling good and we needed to reschedule for Tuesday night. We called her in the late afternoon to tell her that we weren't coming again that night...she asked why and jokingly gave Kevin a hard time and he said, "Well we're in the hospital right now!" She, as we also were, was shocked and took it upon herself to be sure that we were taken care of. She brought us dinner the night we got back from the hospital along with this outfit. She and her daughter were walking through the store and her daughter said, "Mommy, I think that we should get Kaniela a gift. And it should have frogs on it."

Little did Luana or her daugher know that Cea absolutely loves frogs!

We decided that Kaniela got so used to being suspended in his billibed, that we had to get something that would give him the same feeling of being suspended, so this was our gift to Kaniela today.

He's growing so much, and we love watching him develop (physically, mentally and emotionally), and hope that you are enjoying it with us also!
