39 days left. Happy Martin Luther King Jr. Day!

Another tiring day in the Wunder household. We hope that you all had a wonderful Martin Luther King Jr. Day. We know that for most, it was a holiday. We both unfortunately had to work today. Work was busy, and Cea was feeling it's effects tonight...another night of early sleep for Mom...it's good because she really needs it.

Kevin hit a milestone for himself today. He exceeded 100 miles of running on NIKE+ We hope he can stay healthy to continue to train for the half marathon.

What an eventful week in the history of our nation. No matter what your political views are, or what political party affiliation you may have, you have to admit that it is pretty special that we get to celebrate the life of Martin Luther King Jr., a man who did so much for the equality of all people, particularly Black-Americans, and see our first Black-American President enter office all in the same week.

It baffles me how polarizing politics can be, and I hope that we can all put away whatever our affiliations and opinions (whether they be pro or anti Obama), and realize and celebrate the progress our nation has made thanks to men like Martin Luther King Jr. (and let us not forget others like Rosa Parks). To me, this is much bigger than a person, or a politician...this is about the growth of our nation...now I hope that that's something we can all celebrate about.
