40 Days Left + weekly update!

Another week gone by... we're still alive and boy...Kaniela is growing a ton. We don't know what it is, but it seems like his biggest growth occurs over the weekend. We spent the weekend with Cea's parents (and you probably read about the shower in yesterdays post), and Momma Shaffer insisted that today's picture be one of the family.
Here are some other fun pictures of today. When we come to Shaffer's home for the weekend, much of our time is spent playing with Cea's nieces. They love talking with Kaniela. The last picture is kind of a tradition among the Shaffers. When Carly was two, Sharla was pregnant with Katelyn; when Katelyn was two, Sharla was pregnant with Emma; now that Emma is two, Cea is pregnant with Kaniela. In every situation, we have a picture of the two-year old sitting on the pregnant tummy.


This has been a fun and busy week in our home. Kevin is officially through his first week at work. Cea loves having him around and sends him messages throughout the day (when he's at school) telling him that they need him to come in early. We're still making it to the gym a few days a week, and we're starting lamaze classes in about two weeks. Cea's a little upset because lamaze classes are the same time as yoga, so that means she has to take a break from yoga for a few weeks.

Funny story...Cea was looking for lamaze classes and we couldnt' find one in Provo. The nearest one we could find was in American Fork...you would imagine that with all the pregnant women in Provo (because of the young college families at BYU), there would be numerous lamaze classes.
